Eight-year-old boy struck in Jersey City hit-and-run

JERSEY CITY — An 8-year old boy who was struck by a vehicle on Sunday in Jersey City is in critical condition. Police are investigating the hit-and-run that occurred on Bostwick Avenue l on Sunday.
The boy was taken to Jersey City Medical Center-Barnabas Health at about 8 p.m. after Emergency Medical Technicians were able to restore his breathing.
The driver fled the scene.
“This remains an active police investigation,” said city spokesperson Jennifer Morrill.
