A funeral mass was offered June 25 at Our Lady of Mount Virgin Church, Garfield, for Concetta Ciminata, 81, of West New York. She died June 22. Born in Mirto, Sicily-Italy, she resided there for 34 years and Germany for six years before moving to West New York 41 years ago. She was a homemaker, and a parishioner of St. Mary’s Church in West New York. She is survived by her husband Benedetto of 63 years, a son, Mario and wife Joann, a daughter, Graziella Bivona and husband Maurizio, and two brothers, Alfio and Salvatore Ricca. She was the grandmother of Alessandro and wife Nancy, Massimiliano and wife Hoa, and Amy Kamo and husband Albert, and eight great-grandchildren, Luca, Zachery, Kira, Arianna, Michaela, Camila, Ethan and A.J. Services arranged by the Aloia Funeral Home, Garfield.
