To the Editor:
On behalf of all the members of Bayonne Elks Lodge # 434 I would like to thank the community of Bayonne for the heartwarming show of support for our members Karen Minutella and Kenny Healey. Your generous donations and kind words of sympathy and condolences came in abundance and we thank you all.
To all the Elks lodges near and far that came to support their brother and sister, our hearts swell with pride, and we humbly thank you.
To Archie’s Cab Company, who generously donated vans so the Elks could have transportation to and from Connecticut for our sister’s wake was truly appreciated. Thank you. You are an upstanding citizen Mr. Archiello, and we are proud to have you in our little community.
To all of the friends and businesses who donated food and gift baskets, as well as monetary donations, your kindness has not gone unnoticed. We thank you.
On a personal note, I would like to thank all the members of Bayonne Elks Lodge # 434 who took on the massive amount of work to make our event a momentous one. I am extremely proud of you all. You are the greatest people on earth.
We ask the community to continue to pray for the healing of Kenny Healey who as of this date is still in the hospital recovering.
