76, formerly of Bayonne passed away May 25, 2015 in Galloway. A 1956 graduate of Bayonne High School, Technical Division, he worked for 31 years with the New Jersey Turnpike Authority, where he also served as a Union Shop Stewart before his retirement. He is survived by his wife of 56 years, Marie (nee: De Santis); his sons John G. La Pelusa, RPh and his wife, Ellen; Bayonne Councilman, Gary La Pelusa, Sr. and his wife, Cherie; grandchildren, Laura Feininger, John La Pelusa, Christopher La Pelusa, Gary La Pelusa Jr., David La Pelusa, Jennifer La Pelusa and Gianna La Pelusa; and great-grandsons Noah and Nicholas La Pelusa. He was predeceased by siblings Joseph La Pelusa, Thomas La Pelusa, Eileen Grillo, Salvatore La Pelusa Jr.; and is survived by siblings Christine Stephanick and Glenn La Pelusa.
