Storms predicted on and off through Tuesday; weekend ends with emergency flash flooding alert

HOBOKEN — After a week of 80 degree temperatures, Accuweather predicted storms on and off through Tuesday in our area.
On sunday, the National Weather Service issued a rare emergency alert for potential flash flooding in this area until 8:30 p.m. Streets that were dry hours ago are suddenly becoming saturated. Be aware of your surroundings and don’t try to drive through flooded streets.
