69, died May 18, 2015. Raised in Bayonne, he joined the U.S. Army and became a paratrooper serving in the 82nd and 101st Airborne Divisions and in two tours of duty in the Vietnam War. He received a Parachute Badge, a Combat Infantryman Badge, a National Defense Service Medal, a Vietnam Service Medal, a Vietnam Campaign Medal, an Air Medal, and a Purple Heart. He worked for Bell Atlantic for 25 years. He is survived by his daughters Rachel Brown, Rebecca Brown, and Toby Hawkins; and his granddaughters, Haley Nason, and Nikki Agapiou.
