88, died on May 17, 2015. Born in Bayonne, he was a lifelong resident until moving to Lanoka Harbor last year. He served in the U.S. Navy during World War II, going on to retire as a Bayonne Police Lieutenant, serving 38 years, and Secretary to the Chief, a two-term president of the National Police Athletic League, and heavily involved in other organizations. He was predeceased by his wife of 63 years Mary Jo in 2010. He is survived by his daughters, Joyce Lenzo and her husband Paul; and Catherine Monkowski and her husband James; his grandchildren, Janelle Werner and her husband David; Paul Allan Lenzo; Justin Lenzo and his wife Amanda;Matthew Monkowksi and his wife Maura, and Cara Marlowe and her husband Philip; and five great-grandchildren.
