UNION CITY – Mayor Brian Stack and the Board of Commissioners announced that the City of Union City will honor Israel Romero by naming Central Avenue from 17th to 18th Street as Israel Romero Way in honor of his life’s work and dedication to the residents of the city.
The dedication ceremony will take place on Friday, May 22 at noon at the corner of 18th Street and Central Avenue. Everyone in the community is invited to attend.
