84, of Jersey City formerly of Bayonne died on May 10, 2015. He was the husband to the late Frances Cali; father to Philip Jr., Francine Brito, Nancy Cali, and Vincent Cali; grandfather to Nicole, Allyson, Samantha, Jaimee, Melissa, Dana, Brianna, Nicholas, and Zachary; brother to Mary (Maria) Charner, Joseph Cali, and the late Jenny Charner. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews. After an Honorable discharge from the U.S. Army during the Korean War, Philip went to work as a truck driver for Baltimore Transfer Motor Freight in Edison for 13 years and for New Penn Motor-Express in Jersey City, retiring in 1982.
