City holding meeting on Bayonne Bridge work

BAYONNE – City officials will hold an open meeting with residents about the Bayonne Bridge “Raise the Roadway” project on Tuesday, May 19 at 7:30 p.m. in the Andrean Room of Saint Andrew’s the Apostle School, 125 Broadway, the corner of 4th Street.
“This is a high-impact project, and meetings like these are vital to keeping everyone informed and understood,” Mayor James Davis said.
As downtown residents themselves, the meeting will be hosted by Davis, First Ward Councilman Thomas Cotter, and Council President Sharon Nadrowski. Representatives from the city’s Law Division and the Port Authority of New York & New Jersey will be present to listen to concerns, answer questions, and provide a briefing on progress.
“This meeting is primarily geared toward those who live in the project impact zone, but all who have questions or would like additional information are welcome to attend,” Davis said.
