85, formerly of Bayonne passed away on April 14, 2015. He served as a Merchant Marine and was honorably discharged in 1946. He was employed by Texaco as a barge captain before his retirement in 1991. Many Bayonne residents will remember him as the owner of the Clear Deck Tavern and trailer court. He was predeceased by his wife Ann (nee: Kielich) Gunsiorowski; his daughter Rhoda Dyer; his brothers Walter, Edward, Joseph, and Frank; grandmother Josephine Olszewski; and his uncle Bruno Olszewski. He is survived by his son Jay Brown and wife Dawn; and several grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
