Funeral mass took place April 4 at St. Demetrios Greek Orthodox Church, Jersey City, for Panagiota Moraitis, 103, of Jersey City. She passed away peacefully on March 31. Panagiota was born in Athens, Greece, and immigrated to Jersey City in 1968. She was a fur finisher for Morris Co., New York City. Panagiota was the wife of the late George Moraitis; mother of John Moraitis and wife Harriet, Chrysoula Bouhoutsos; grandmother of George Moraitis and wife Dora, John Moraitis and wife Joanna, Angelo and Kyriaki Bouhoutsos Milton Bouhoutsos and wife Alexis; great-grandmother of John and Anastasia Moraitis, Alexander Bouhoutsos, Chris and Vanessa.
