Secaucus library’s used book sale is Thursday through Sunday

SECAUCUS – The Secaucus Public Library and Business Resource Center is ending the month of March by hosting a four-day used book sale from Thursday, March 26 to Sunday, March 29. The event is taking place in the library’s first-floor lobby during regular library hours, which are from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. on Thursday and Friday, from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Saturday, and from noon to 4 p.m. on Sunday.
“The library will be selling used and donated books, audiobooks, DVDs and CDs,” said library director Jenifer May. “The selection for sale will include something for everyone: books, movies, and music for children, teens, and adults. All proceeds derived from the sale will benefit the library’s programs and collections.”
Sale items will be sold either individually at $1 per book, audiobook, CD, or DVD, or by-the-bag. “This year, the library will be offering two bag choices: plastic bags for $4 or reusable bags featuring the Friends of the Library’s logo for only $5,” said May. “Either bag can be filled with any combination of books or audiovisual materials, but the cloth bags are truly a great deal, as they are strong enough and large enough to hold an impressive number of hardcover books, and durable enough to allow users to show their support of the library long after this sale ends.”
In order for the library to have an orderly sale and not disrupt the normal flow of traffic for other library patrons, May asked that those planning to attend the book sale do not arrive any earlier than the opening times stated on the days of the sale.
