Funeral services were held Jan. 31 for Mary “Peggy” Tallon. She passed away suddenly on Jan. 24. She was born in NYC to John and Margaret Fogarty. Peggy moved to New Jersey in 1955 and lived in North Bergen for more than 40 years. She was a cashier at the Pathmark in North Bergen for many years before retiring in the 1980s. Peggy was actively involved in the Marion Helpers at her parish, Our Lady of Fatima. She enjoyed spending time with family, friends, neighbors and her North Bergen pool buddies. Peggy is survived by her children Susan Donegan, Michael Wilman, Peggy Comerford and Mary Delaney, many grandchildren and several great-grandchildren. She also leaves behind her brother John Fogarty and her sister Rita Winters. She was predeceased by her husband Thomas Tallon, sister Helen Billek, brother Timothy Mannix and sons John and Joseph Comerford. Services arranged by the Vainieri Funeral Home, North Bergen.
