HUDSON COUNTY–All NJ Transit service were to close at 10 p.m. on Monday, Jan. 26 and remain closed at least through Tuesday, Jan. 27, according to a notice on the agency’s website. The last trips on all NJT lines of service were to leave all major stations/terminals by 8 p.m. and will reach their final destination by 10 p.m. The final NJ Transit trains on Monday will make all local stops.
For the rest of Monday, NJ Transit is cross-honoring tickets for all of its modes of transit systemwide.
The Hudson Bergen Light Rail and limited service on NJ Transit buses may resume on Wednesday. Jan. 28 if road and track conditions permit. NJ Transit rail may resume on Thursday, Jan. 29 depending on the condition of the tracks and equipment.
Due to projected blizzard conditions in the New York area, the PATH train will run on a weekend schedule starting at 9 p.m. on Monday, Jan. 26, with trains departing every 15 minutes on the Newark-World Trade Center and 33rd Street-Hoboken- Journal Square lines, according to a notice on the agency’s website.
