, 83 of Pennington, NJ, passed away on January 11, 2015 after a sudden illness. Joe is survived by his wife of 60 years, Lori, as well as his two sons, Kevin and Thomas, and daughter-in-law, Regina Pryor (nee Caufield). Born in Bayonne, Joe was one of 10 children, born to the late Madeline Pryor (Smith) and John “Jack” Pryor, several of whom (Paul, Virginia, Katherine “Kay”, Loretta, James, Jackie and Andrew), and his son-in-law, Marshall Hunt, predeceased him. Joe is survived by his brothers, Jerome “Jerry,” Peter and his wife, Clara, a sister, Carol James, and brother-in-law, Frank, as well as countless nieces and nephews. He was loved by his extended “Caufield” family who shared many happy occasions with him. After graduation, Joe enlisted in the Army and fought bravely in the Korean War, earning a Bronze Star Medal for having distinguished himself by acts of heroism in battle. He worked for many years as a draftsman and later an aerospace engineer with Esna Fasteners and Harvard Industries, eventually representing his company as a recognized leader in the industry, chairing several national standards committees. He also worked in painting, carpentry, and was an active golfer. He is also survived by his three granddaughters, Marie, Caroline and Diana.
