97, passed away on January 7, 2015 at the Bayonne Medical Center. He was a lifelong resident and graduate of Bayonne High School in 1936 and went on to Saint Peter’s College attaining a degree in business administration. John was a WWII Veteran serving in the Army Air Corps. He served in the European Theater and was assigned to the intelligence unit. For several years, he was a coordinator in the aerospace industry with the Singer Corporation, Bendix Corporation and Kearfot prior to his retirement. John was predeceased by his parents Thoedore and Mary (nee Hrucewska) Monchak; and a brother Peter Monchak. He is survived by his sister Ann Kraft and her husband Frederick and nephews Kenneth and Theodore Kraft and a niece Patricia (nee Monchak) Kane & her husband Ed and their 5 children.
