91 of Boca Raton, FL passed away Friday, December 19, 2014. Born in Brooklyn, she was the youngest of Rebecca and Joseph Winter’s five children. Selma and her late husband Max spent the better part of their lives raising their children in Bayonne. Seven years ago she moved to Stratford Court in Boca Raton to live near her daughter Diane LaHowchic.. Selma is survived by her granddaughter Jessica Bronson and great-grandsons Madden and Joshua Bronson of Rock Hill, SC; Selma’s daughter Diane LaHowchic and son-in-law Nicholas John LaHowchic of Port St Lucie, Florida, her granddaughters Tara LaHowchic and Nicole Plescia and her husband Daniel and her great grandchildren Luke, Hallie, and Dylan Plescia of New Jersey; Selma’s sister-in-law Dorothy Winter, White Plains, NY, cousins Cynthia Love and Melvin and Violet Winter in Florida, and her many beloved nieces and nephews. Selma is predeceased by her husband, Max Forrest, son Kenneth Forrest, brothers Charles, Raymond, and Julius Winter, and sister Pearl Goldberg.
