UNION CITY – The City of Union City, Mayor Brian Stack, and the Board of Commissioners will present an evening of music and short films on Friday, Dec. 12 beginning at 7 p.m. at the William V. Musto Cultural Center, 420 – 15th Street in Union City. Refreshments will be served and admission is free.
The event will feature music by San Lukai directly from their performance at the Tribeca Screening Room in New York City. San Lukai’s contemporary sound is a fusion of Brazilian, classical, jazz, and world music.
Two short films are being screened at the event. The comedy “Horticulture with Greg Gilbert” was shot, edited and directed by Union City resident Raul Barcelona, written by Mike Amato and Steve Farrell, and stars Mike Amato. “SAL” was directed by Union City resident John Jay Hebert, and stars Union City resident Lucio Fernandez and Jersey City resident Saulo Diaz.
