BAYONNE — The Bayonne Bridge will be closed from Friday, Nov. 7 at 11:59 p.m. through Saturday, Nov. 8 at 8 a.m., according to the Port Authority of New York & New Jersey.
Travelers should plan an alternate route.
Work will proceed on the authority’s $1.3 billion “Raise the Roadway” project, which is designed to raise the clearance under the crossing to 215 feet to allow larger, more modern ships to travel under it.
