HOBOKEN – “Little Red and the Hoods,” while featuring an all-adult cast, is designed to please children ages 3 to 10 years old. The production is part of the 14th season of the Hudson Theatre Ensemble Children’s Series “Silly on Sixth.”
The new version of this old favorite is for children and adults alike, with its engaging audience participation and zany fun. And for extra excitement, if a child volunteers and is selected to come up on stage they’ll become a part of the story.
If a child in the audience has a November birthday “Silly on Sixth” and “Little Red and the Hoods” can become part of the celebration. The entire audience will sing “Happy Birthday,” the youngster will have a wonderful time seeing the play, and will meet the actors after the show. Call Florence for details at (201) 377-7014.
The child-friendly, ground-floor theater at Hudson School Performance Space, 601 Park Ave., Hoboken is completely barrier-free and accessible to persons with disabilities.
Performances are on Saturday, Nov. 15 at 11a.m. and 1p.m.; Sunday, Nov. 16 at 11a.m. and 1p.m.; and Sunday, Nov. 23 at 11a.m. and 1 p.m. The show runs about 40 minutes.
