Around 15 months after it closed with a blow-out block party, Maxwell’s is bringing back live music once again. The iconic bar and restaurant at 11th and Washington streets is under new management, and its owners have evidently heard the clamor of Hobokenites for live music venues. The bar’s first new performer, Elise Testone, will perform this Friday, Oct. 24 at 10:00 p.m. Testone is a soulful singer/songwriter who placed sixth in the eleventh season of American Idol. She grew up in Kinnelon, New Jersey but now resides in Charleston, S.C.
