How will Hoboken handle snow better than last year?

Dear Editor:
Last winter it snowed a lot- more than anyone could have predicted. The city’s response to the snow could have been better. Now is the time for us to learn from last year without placing blame. Today we can formulate a plan to do better. Our City Government should explain how it will respond differently to snow this coming winter.
We must be humble enough to allow the self-examination that allows us do better than last year. By acting now, we can do careful, detailed work before the first flakes fall. By showing us that attempts to improve are being made, our City Government can earn some forbearance and patience when the unexpected happens. I know we cannot be prepared for every eventuality. Let’s learn, improve and move forward. This great city deserves nothing less.
