Funeral services will be private for George Hicks McDermott III, 63, of Secaucus, formerly of Marshfield and Boston, Mass. He passed away Sept. 26. He was the husband of Evelyn A. Dellacruz; father of Ryan McDermott; grandfather of Alexus McDermott; brother of Charles Richard, Dianne Marie, and the late Robert Michael and Daniel Flood McDermott. George was a project manager for EIC Associates Construction Company in Springfield. Services arranged by the Mack Memorial Home, Secaucus.
