A funeral mass was offered Oct. 2 at St. Paul the Apostle Church, Jersey City, for Evaristo Conidi, 87, of Jersey City. He passed away Sept. 28 at home. Born in Marcellinara, Italy to the late Laurino Conidi and Maria Teresa, he lived in Jersey City for many years. He was a retired tailor from Highwood Terrace Cleaners, Weehawken, having worked there for 22 years.
He was the husband of 63 years to Maria; father of Teresa Hill and her husband, George, Ed Conidi and his wife, Angela, and Frank Conidi and his wife, Angela, and grandfather of Gianna and Services arranged by the Greenville Memorial Home, Jersey City.
