WEST NEW YORK – Bobby Jackson, New York Jets Hall of Fame defensive back, brings the Bound For Greatness celebrity student leadership and stop bullying program to the West New York public school district. Duane West, America’s leading celebrity youth motivator is the host and keynote speaker on Monday, Oct. 6, which is the first day of National Respect Week. The topics of discussion are respect, leadership, bullying, goal setting, tolerance, integrity, making good choices and decisions, discipline, and the importance of education. Mr. West moved from being a homeless, disadvantaged, at-risk special needs student (from Newark, NJ), to first generation college graduate, to motivational speaker, to fitness guru, to author/writer, to AFL pro football player, to national on-air TV personality/star with NBC Universal-TV. Motivating and inspiring children is his passion and life mission. The event will take place at the West New York Memorial HS and Middle School beginning at 7:45 a.m.
