JERSEY CITY — Fares to ride PATH trains cost 25 cents more starting today for a single ride ticket, going from $2.50 to $2.75. A two trip ticket costs $5.
Frequent riders on PATH can get deeper discounts by purchasing seven-day unlimited use or 30-day unlimited use, which will cose $29 and $89.
The increase, according to the Port Authority of New York and New Jersey, is to offset costs associated with a 10-year capital improvement plan that includes renovations to the Grove Street station in Jersey City.
