WEST NEW YORK – Palisades Medical Center and St. Joseph of the Palisades Church are teaming up to sponsor a family health fair at St. Joseph of the Palisades Church from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Saturday, Oct. 4. The fair will feature free health screenings and information as well as free activities and attractions for children.
Health information will be provided in English and Spanish and bi-lingual medical professionals will be on hand to answer questions. Health test and screenings will include blood pressure, peak flow, heart rate and percentage of oxygen in the blood, body mass index, eye exams for glaucoma and vision, hearing tests, and breast exams.
Children will enjoy the many games and activities at the family health fair, including face painting, a bounce house, and more.
