Weekends in Jersey City Heights got a lot sweeter this summer with the continuation of the Riverview-Fisk Park farmer’s market, which returned in May and will run until Nov. 2 on every Sunday from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m.
Organized by Farms in the Heights, a grassroots, not-for-profit organization, the market features more than a score of local vendors and others selling a variety of fresh goods.
Complete with food demonstrations, live or DJ music, book swaps, children’s activities, and free yoga, the Riverview Farmers Market brings out neighbors and others for a relaxed Sunday gathering that also includes entertainment, in a setting that offers an extraordinary view of Hoboken and the Manhattan skyline.
