Guttenberg Arts invites everyone to their STAR (Space and Time Artist Residency) gallery for an exhibition featuring the work of Georgia resident Mirra Goldfrad.
Goldfrad is working on a collaged mixed media print installation, as an analogy of careless mass production in a generic contemporary society, in which one’s identity is tied to oversimplified notions of normality. Goldfrad is drawn to print installations for their ability to affect space beyond itself, to disorient the viewer, as well as provide the freedom to explore ideas outside of oneself.
The opening reception is on Wednesday, Sept. 10 from 7 to 9 p.m. Guttenberg Arts is at 6903 Jackson St., Guttenberg.
