OST, BRADLEY P.

A funeral mass was celebrated Aug. 28 at The Trinity Church, All Saints Episcopal Parish, Hoboken, for Bradley P. (Brad) Ost, 43, of Jersey City. He died at New York Presbyterian Weill Cornell Medical Center on Aug. 23, after a nearly year-long, courageous battle with leukemia. Born in Westwood, Brad was a graduate of Westwood High School and Rutgers University. Brad loved his husband, and relished being a father to his children. He will also be remembered as a son, brother, and uncle; also for his kindness, humor, and loyal friendship; and for his care of all living things, especially his volunteer work with various animal rescue organizations. For those who had the privilege of knowing him, Brad will remain in their hearts as the embodiment of “joy.”
He is survived by his husband, Edward F. Ribaudo Jr.; his children Addison and Cameron Ribaudo-Ost; his mother Jane Ost; his brother and sister, Diane and Jeffrey Ost; his father-in-law, Edward F. Ribaudo Sr. and mother-in-law, Patricia Ribaudo; his sister-in-law, Ann Marie Palombo and her husband Jeffrey Palombo; his brother-in-law, Daniel Ribaudo and his wife Annemarie Galasso Ribaudo; nieces and nephews, and his dog Robbin. He was preceded in death by his daughter, Avery Ribaudo-Ost; his father Roy R. Ost; and his dogs Ollie and Baskin.
The family would like to thank the doctors, nurses, and staff of New York Presbyterian Weill Cornell Medical Center, and the “Brad Pack” for their continuous support and attention to Brad during his fight. Services arranged by the Lawton-Turso Funeral Home, Hoboken.
