Memorial Sloan-Kettering restricts drug rep access to physicians *

“ZS Associates, a national consulting firm that helps drug companies boost sales, has been tracking the difficulty sales reps face in accessing physicians’ offices….
The consulting firm said Memorial Sloan-Kettering oncologists were the toughest to access. Of 40 oncologists within a 10-block radius of MSK, half had “severely restricted access,” compared with only 10% of oncologists in the rest of New York City. Major U.S. cancer centers typically have restrictive policies on such calls, unless the sales rep has a recently launched product.”
