UNION CITY – Mayor Brian Stack and the Board of Commissioners announce that the City of Union City will hold a flag-raising ceremony commemorating Ecuador’s Independence Day on Friday, August 8 at noon at International Park located on Palisade Ave. and 38th St.
The ceremony will include several invited guest speakers and the raising of the Ecuadorian flag. Members of several local Ecuadorian organizations are expected to attend the ceremony. Everyone in the community is invited to attend.
