A mass of Christian burial was offered July 28 at St. Joseph’s Church, Jersey City, for Raymond F. McLaughlin, 71, of Secaucus, formerly of Jersey City. He passed away July 24. Born in Jersey City, Raymond worked for the United States Postal Service for 38 years before retiring in 2002. He was a member of the Jersey City Democratic Club and communicant of St. Joseph’s Church. Raymond moved to Secaucus seven years ago and was a score keeper with Secaucus Little League until he became ill. Raymond is survived by his wife, Patricia McLaughlin; sisters, Margaret Hicks and Anne Kennedy; brothers, William McLaughlin and his wife Phyllis and John W. “Buster” McLaughlin; 18 nieces and nephews and many great nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his brothers Francis X. McLaughlin, Jr. and George McLaughlin and sister, Ellen Dato. Services arranged by the McLaughlin Funeral Home, Jersey City.
