A mass of Christian burial was offered July 28 at St. Aloysius Church, Jersey City, for Martin C.X. Dolan, 64, a life-long Jersey City resident. A graduate of St. Aloysius grammar school, St. Peter’s Preparatory School and College, and Seton Hall Law School, Dolan led a life of public service. His was a familiar face around City Hall. Over more than thirty years Dolan served multiple positions: Municipal Court Administrator, Assistant Corporation Counsel, Planning Board Attorney.
He was predeceased by his father, Dr. Jerome Dolan, his mother, Marguerite May Dolan. He is survived by sister, Maryellen Adams and her husband John Adams; sister Margaret Dolan and husband Rich Lamb, brother Marc J. Dolan and wife Stephanie. He leaves numerous other family members: Sean and Erika Adams and their children David and Gavin; Alex and Tara Ragone and their children Elly, Evan and Claire; Ryan Adams; and great nephews Robert and Stephen Dolan.
