Funeral services took place July 21 for Victor M. Dumantt, Sr., 91, of Jersey City. He passed away July 17th at Jersey City Medical Center. Born in San Juan, Puerto Rico, he came to Jersey City in 1963. He originally worked as a mechanic fork lift operator for EJ Korvettes in Bayonne for many years, retiring in 1982. Near his retirement is when he brought to fruition his love of God, becoming the Founder and Pastor of Iglesia Pentecostal los dos Olivos (Two Olives Pentecostal Church) on Woodward Street in Jersey City. He was the husband of 64 years to Ramona; father of David and Victor, Jr., Dumantt, Iris Dumantt-Luccioni, and Elba Dumantt-Rodriguez; grandfather of Eric, Timothy and Grace and great-grandfather of David, Terrance, Jr. and Cassaundra.
