UNION CITY – Mayor Brian Stack and the Board of Commissioners announce that the City of Union City will hold a flag-raising ceremony commemorating Peru’s Independence Day on Monday, July 28 at 12 p.m. at International Park located on Palisade Avenue and 38th St.
The ceremony will include several invited guest speakers and the raising of the Peruvian flag. Members of several local Peruvian organizations are expected to attend the ceremony.
Everyone in the community is invited to attend the ceremony.
