Funeral services took place July 11 for Samuel Sher, 97, of Union City, formerly of Hoboken and Jersey City. He passed away July 9. He was the husband of the late Ida; father of Rita, Steven and Nelson Sher; brother of Dorothy Berman; grandfather of David, Daniel and Jennifer and Great grandfather of Alyssa. Prior to retiring Samuel was a real estate developer. He was a member of Congregation Sons of Israel Jersey City. He was the president of Hebrew Free Loan. He was a Veteran of WWII. Services arranged by Wien and Wien Memorial Chapel, Hackensack.
