They were dressed as Dorothy from the “Wizard of Oz,” the Flintstones/Rubbles, and BatMan. Scores of Hoboken babies – along with their doting parents – came out on Sunday, June 29 to the Hoboken Historical Museum’s annual Baby Parade. The best dressed tots won prizes, and everyone got a bag filled with goodies and offers from local merchants.
The parade is a tradition revived from the early 1900s, when the event allowed immigrant families with babies to find out how to get proper health services, and meet each other.
