Funeral mass took place June 12 at Our Lady of Libera Church for Mireille Menendez, 86, of North Bergen. She passed away June 9. She was born in Cuba and came to the United States over 50 years ago, settling in Union City before moving to North Bergen 12 years ago. She was the longtime owner of Coiffures by Mireille Salon in Union City before retiring. She was the wife of Jose Menendez and the sister of Julio and Rosalina Hernandez, Marta Munoz and Edila Valdes. She was also survived by many nieces and nephews. Services arranged by the Leber Funeral Home, Union City.
