A funeral mass was offered June 18 at Sts. Peter and Paul Church, Hoboken, for Anne Marie Dreyer. She passed away peacefully on June 13. Anne, born in 1914, was a lifelong resident of Hoboken, where she and her husband raised their family. She was the last surviving member of the Trapp family. She graduated from St. Michaels High School, Union City, where she was also a member of the Michaelean Guild. For many years Anne was a member of the Rosary Society at Sts. Peter and Paul Church, Hoboken, Eucharistic Minister at Epiphany Church, Cliffside Park, and active in the senior citizens Committee.
She enjoyed spending time with family, especially holidays; reading the newspapers every day, playing Bingo, doing crossword puzzles and watching basketball on TV. Special thanks to Mr. Davis and the staff at The Harborage, North Bergen, for the care they gave her the past 10 years. She was the widow of the late John Herbert Dreyer (1995). Anne is survived by her sons Herbert and his wife Mary of Stratford, Conn.; Paul and his wife Marilyn, of Falmouth, Mass.; Richard and his wife Kathleen of Cary, N.C.; Thomas and his wife Ann Marie of Califon; and Gerard, his wife Deborah, of Leonia. She was the grandmother of Christopher, Daniel, Adam, Gretchen, Rick, Gregory, Brian, Jeffrey, Alissa, Joseph, Derek and Jordan, and great-grandmother of 12.
