WNY Mayor Roque reportedly saves man hit by bricks

WEST NEW YORK — According to a published article, West New York Mayor Felix Roque resuscitated a man injured in a partial building collapse Tuesday evening.
At least four people were injured when part of 219 Palisade Ave. collapsed, spilling bricks, according to a story on NJ.com.
The story says, “Mayor Felix Roque, a doctor, ran out of his office a few doors down and resuscitated one of the victims. The mayor was in his office a few doors away on 60th Street when he heard the crash of bricks and ran to the building, where he found an unconscious man on the sidewalk.”
It is unknown whether the injured parties were in the building or were walking by. Two are in stable condition at Palisades Medical Center, and the condition of two others was not released.
Roque, who was indicted and acquitted of computer hacking in 2013, has had his political ups and downs. He may yet get a second act thanks to this bout of heroism.
