To the Editor:
What do I say to and about a doctor who has been as caring, compassionate, demanding, persistent, and knowledgeable about your health and wellbeing as your own mother? Thank you doesn’t seem enough, but it’s what I will offer. Thanks for years of helping my family and myself to deal with our health as well as illness, surgeries, and even death. I’m sure she doesn’t know or realize how much she has done as it’s “her job,” but Dr. Silber’s retirement leaves a hole in my heart. Again, thank you and enjoy your retirement and family.
