Funeral mass took place May 30 at St. Aloysius Church, Jersey City, for Elizabeth C. Ray. She died May 25 at Jersey City Medical Center, Jersey City. Born in Jersey City, she was a lifelong resident. She was the wife of Alvin Ray; mother of Mary Beth Simone and her husband Kevin, Michael Ray and his wife Margaret, Jeanette Walsh and her husband Kevin, Daniel Ray and his wife Alice, Gregory Ray and his wife Christine; grandmother of Cara, Michael, Brandon, Andrew, Patrick, Claudia Ray and Melissa Simone; sister of Patricia D’Elia, Francis Doyle, William Doyle, James Doyle, Thomas Doyle and the late Mary Doyle, Rev. John F. Doyle, Joseph Doyle, Kathleen McKorkell and Florence Yanick; daughter of the late Elizabeth (Miller) and John Doyle. Services arranged by the Greenville Memorial Home, Jersey City.
