A funeral mass was offered May 31 at St Joseph of the Palisades Church, West New York, for Anthony R. Faranda, 85, of West New York. He passed away May 28. He was a retired machinist for Hills Brothers in Edgewater. He was an U.S. Army veteran serving in Korea. He was the husband of the late Dolores A. Faranda; father of Arlene Kubinec and her husband Paul, Anthony Faranda and his wife Donna, Timothy Faranda and his wife Luann and Walter Faranda and his wife Tania; brother of John Faranda, Salvatore Faranda and the late Mary Truce. Also survived by his sister in law Patricia Kelly, 12 grandchildren, five great grandchildren and nieces and nephews. Services arranged by the Vainieri Funeral Home, North Bergen.
