82, passed away on Wednesday, April 30, 2014 at Bayonne Medical Center. Born in Bayonne, he was a lifelong resident. Mr. Polera was a retired Hudson County Sheriff’s Officer with 22 years of service. Mr. Polera is survived by his beloved wife, Maureen (nee: Kontje); his loving children, Frank Polera Jr., and his wife, Roseanne, Beth Polera, and Michelle Burger, and her husband, Robert; and his cherished grandchildren, Maria and Gabriella. He was predeceased by his beloved parents, Elizabeth (nee: Gironda) and Vito Polera, Sr.; and his dear brother, Vito (Willie) Polera, Jr. Funeral arrangements made by BAYONNE Memorial Home Inc., 854 Avenue C, Bayonne.
