ELKS defeats RUSSO’S 6-5

Wednesday wasn’t a banner performance for SABASTIAN STOHER, but ELKS still managed to pull out a 6-5 victory over RUSSO’S in six innings at Hoboken. SABASTIAN surrendered five in five, but the bullpen allowed no runs and the offense banged out four to help secure the win for ELKS. THOMAS SPADAVECCHIA led ELKS’ offensive threat, as he got on base two times in the game. He scored two runs and had one RBI. He doubled in the third inning..

JOSEPH SOBOLOV hits and pitches FIORE’S to 12-1 victory

JOSEPH SOBOLOV came up big at the dish and on the bump, leading FIORE’S to a 12-1 win over FIRE DEPT. on Wednesday at Hoboken. JOSEPH had two extra-base hits for FIORE’S. He doubled in the third inning, singled in the fourth inning, and tripled in the fifth inning. JOSEPH held FIRE DEPT. hitless over three innings, allowed no earned runs, walked one and struck out eight. FIORE’S’ GRIFFEN HAAS, OZ YIFRAKH, JOSEPH and ANTONIO CLEMENTE combined for eight hits and five RBIs.

POLICE DEPT. cruises past MARIO’S PIZZA, 13-5

LUCA CONETTA had a busy day at the plate, collecting four extra-base hits. He homered in the fourth inning and doubled in the first, second, and fifth innings. HUDSON PORADA had two extra-base hits for MARIO’S PIZZA. He doubled in the third inning and tripled in the fifth inning. JACOB JARRETT recorded the win for POLICE DEPT. He allowed three runs over 4 1/3 innings. He struck out 11, walked four and surrendered three hits.

ZACH OSWALD leads PICCOLO’S to 11-1 win over MAS DEMOLITION

An excellent effort by ZACH OSWALD spurred PICCOLO’S to an 11-1 win in four innings over MAS DEMOLITION on Thursday at Hoboken. ZACH racked up seven RBIs on two hits for PICCOLO’S. He homered in the first and third innings. MAS DEMOLITION managed just one hit off of Oswald, who allowed one earned run, walked one and struck out 10 . DANNY HANSON reached base two times in the game for MAS DEMOLITION. He scored one run and had one RBI. He homered in the fourth inning.

RUSSO’S third-inning burst enough to top CASSESA’S, 17-5

RUSSO’S jumped out to an early lead on CASSESA’S and captured a 17-5 victory on Friday at Hoboken. MICHAEL EFFINGER had a busy day at the plate, collecting two extra-base hits. CASSESA’S managed just one hit off of Parades, who allowed no earned runs, walked two and struck out four during his three innings of work.

STAN’S outlast YOUNG DEMS in high-scoring affair, 14-10

STAN’S and YOUNG DEMS lit up the scoreboard on Friday as they combined for 24 runs. In the end, STAN’S won the offensive battle 14-10 in six innings. BRANDON LUI racked up two RBIs on one hit for STAN’S. He homered in the sixth inning. BRANDON got it done on the mound on the way to a win. He allowed three runs over two-thirds of an inning. BRANDON struck out one, walked four and gave up one hit.

FIORE’S jumps on CHIRICHELLA BOYS early and coasts to 14-6 win

An RBI triple by JOSEPH SOBOLOV, a passed ball, an error, a passed ball, and a steal of home by JAVIER FIGUEROA supplied the early offense for FIORE’S. RAY FIORE had a busy day at the plate, collecting two extra-base hits. FAYVIAN CORDOVA racked up four RBIs on one hit for CHIRICHELLA BOYS. He homered in the fourth inning. GRIFFEN HAAS got the win for FIORE’S. He allowed three runs over one inning. GRIFFEN struck out none, walked five and gave up no hits.

Dual-threat carries ELKS past POLICE DEPT. 12-9

ANTHONY PERRINOD pulled double duty, leading ELKS on both offense and defense in the win. ANTHONY racked up five RBIs on two hits for ELKS. He singled in the fourth inning and a grand slam home run in the fifth inning. POLICE DEPT. managed just one hit off of Perrinod, who walked four and struck out nine. LUCA CONETTA got on base four times in the game for POLICE DEPT. He doubled in the first inning. LUCA held ELKS hitless over three innings, allowed no earned runs, walked six and struck out eight. JESSIE MCALLISTER kicked things off with a solo home run.
