BAYONNE – Residents seeking to watch the Bayonne Rotary Club Mayoral Debate held on Thursday, April 24, can now do so following the group’s announcement of air times beginning this week.
Mayor Mark Smith, Police Capt. James Davis, and businessman Anthony Zanowic were questioned on topics that included job creation, development, tourism, and quality-of-life issues.
The last debate of the campaign was held in the Bayonne High School auditorium before an invitation-only audience of more than 300 people.
The debate will be broadcast on Cablevision Access Channel 19 from now until the municipal election on May 13.
The debate will air on Tuesday, April 29 from 9 to 11 p.m., Wednesday, April 30 from 1 to 3 p.m. and Sunday, May 4 from 4 to 6 p.m.
It will air again on Tuesday, May 6 from 9 to 11 p.m., Wednesday, May 7 from 1 to 3 p.m. and Sunday, May 11 from 4 to 6 p.m.
From May 6 to 13, the final week before the election, it will air additional times, as well as daily for the final three days of May 11 through 13. – Joseph Passantino
