Second-inning rally sparks blowout win for FIORE’S, 13-3

 

On April 15, FIORE’S jumped out to an early lead on RUSSO’S and captured a 13-3 victory. An RBI single by RAY FIORE and a two-run error during the first inning and a double by JOSEPH SOBOLOV, a RBI double by JAVIER FIGUEROA, a RBI single by SOBOLOV, and an RBI double by GRIFFEN HAAS in the second inning fueled FIORE’S’ offense early. SOBOLOV got the win for FIORE’S. He allowed three runs over 4 1/3 innings. He struck out nine, walked three and surrendered nine hits. ANDREW PARADES lasted just 1 2/3 innings on the mound for RUSSO’S before being taken out. ANDREW allowed five hits and 11 runs

 

POLICE DEPT. jumps on STAN’S early and coasts to 12-2 win

 

On April 16, POLICE DEPT. refused to relinquish the lead after grabbing it early against STAN’S, recording a 12-2 victory on. The game was decided quickly as POLICE DEPT. exerted its will early with seven runs in the first three innings. An RBI double by DOMINICK CHINCHILLA and a double by DANIEL WEHRHAHN in the first inning and an RBI single by JACOB JARRETT. JACOB got the win for POLICE DEPT. thanks to 11 strikeouts. JACOB allowed no earned runs on two hits and two walks over four innings. A bright spot for STAN’S in the defeat was DANIEL RASHKES, who allowed only one run while striking out five.

DANIEL took the loss for STAN’S.

 

SEBASTIAN STOHRER throws PERFECT GAME FOR 5 INNINGS as ELKS defeats CASSESA’S 10-0

 

On April 17, SEBASTIAN STOHRER was untouchable, throwing a no-hitter in ELKS’ 10-0 victory over CASSESA’S.

No CASSESA’S batter was able to locate SEBASTIAN’s pitches during the game. SEBASTIAN threw a no-hitter, striking out 14 batters and walking none while recording his momentous feat. He got JAKE LANDSBERGIS to strike out for the final out of the game. JORDAN GOMEZ, SEBASTIAN STOHRER, ZAON LANEY and MICAL AVILES helped lead ELKS. They combined for five hits and five RBIs.CALVIN FLETT was charged with the loss. He allowed six runs in 3 1/3 innings, walked two and struck out five.

 

ADRIAN PETRI helps CHIRICHELLA BOYS down FIRE DEPT. 2-1

 

On April 18, ADRIAN PETRI went 2-3, sparking CHIRICHELLA BOYS to a 2-1 victory in six innings over FIRE DEPT. He singled in the third inning and doubled in the fifth inning. RYAN BURK was in control on the bump. RYAN held FIRE DEPT. hitless over 2 2/3 innings, allowed no earned runs, walked two and struck out six. ISA OLIVERI recorded the win for CHIRICHELLA BOYS. He allowed one run over 3 1/3 innings. ISA struck out 10, walked five and gave up one hit. MATTHER POTTER was the game’s losing pitcher. He lasted just four innings, walked two, struck out seven, and allowed two runs.

 

YOUNG DEMS falls 8-2 at the hands of ELKS

ELKS got the win thanks in large part to ANTHONY PERRINOD‘s dominant, 11-strikeout performance. ANTHONY allowed one earned run, one hit and two walks over six innings. YOUNG DEMS was led by ANGEL QUINONES’s hitting. ANGEL went 1-2, drove in one and scored one run. He homered in the fourth inning. ELIAS COLON was charged with the loss. He lasted just 4 2/3 innings, walked three, struck out nine, and allowed four runs.

 

MARIO’S PIZZA cruises past CASSESA’S, 10-3

 

On April 18, MARIO’S PIZZA pounded CASSESA’S on Saturday 10-3 in six innings. MARIO’S PIZZA scored five runs in the first on a walk by BENJAMIN HOFBAUER, a two-run double by ANDREW WHOLF, and a two-run single by JADEN OLIVIERI. ANDREW WHOLF racked up three RBIs on two hits for MARIO’S PIZZA. HUDSON PORADA kept contact to a minimum, striking out eight CASSESA’S batters. HUDSON allowed three earned runs on four hits and two walks over 5 2/3 innings. ANTHONY HENRIQUEZ took the loss for CASSESA’S. He allowed seven runs in two innings, walked seven and struck out three. MARIO’S PIZZA piled on three more runs in the top of the sixth. A double by BENNY LOVE ignited the offense, bringing home ELI. That was followed up by ANDREW’s triple, scoring BENNY.

 

MAS DEMOLITION gets 15 strikeouts from DANNY HANSON, win 7-0 over STAN’S

 

DANNY HANSON hopes every outing could go as well as Saturday, as DANNY tossed a shutout to carry MAS DEMOLITION to a 7-0 victory over STAN’S in six innings. DANNY kept contact to a minimum, striking out 15 STAN’S batters. MAS DEMOLITION’s pitcher gave up just three hits over six shutout innings. VINCENT CHIRICHELLA did his best to prevent defeat. VINCENT went a perfect 2-2 at the plate for STAN’S. MAS DEMOLITION blew out STAN’S thanks to eight hits, including two extra base hits. MAS DEMOLITION’s ROBERT AULD, DANNY HANSON, AIDEN LUBIN and KYLE VALENZUELA combined for seven hits and four RBIs. DANIEL RASHKES took the loss for STAN’S. He lasted just three innings, walked one, struck out three, and allowed three runs.

 

Early lead gives FIORE’S easy victory over POLICE DEPT., 12-0

 

FIORE’S beat POLICE DEPT. 12-0 in four innings on Saturday at Hoboken after a nine-run explosion in the first inning. LUIS RIVERA did his best to prevent defeat. LUIS paced POLICE DEPT. at the plate. LUIS went 1-2. He doubled in the fourth inning. GRIFFEN HAAS racked up two RBIs on two hits for FIORE’S. He singled in the first inning and homered in the third inning. SAMMY COOPER recorded the win for FIORE’S. He tossed four innings of shutout ball. He struck out eight, walked none and surrendered three hits. DOMINICK CHINCHILLA was charged with the loss. He allowed nine runs in one-third of an inning, walked three and struck out one.

 

JUSTIN BROWN stars as YOUNG DEMS defeats CASSESA’S, 25-6

 

On April 22, JUSTIN BROWN hit for the cycle to carry YOUNG DEMS to a 25-6 win over CASSESA’S at Hoboken in six innings. JUSTIN racked up six RBIs on four hits for YOUNG DEMS. He homered in the first inning, tripled in the third inning, singled in the fourth inning, and doubled in the sixth inning.

YOUNG DEMS starter RODNEY CLASSEN struggled, allowing six in 1 2/3 innings, but the bullpen let up no runs and the offense banged out 13 to pick up the slack and secure the win for YOUNG DEMS.

JUSTIN recorded the win for YOUNG DEMS. He tossed 4 1/3 innings of shutout ball. He struck out eight, walked three and surrendered one hit. YOUNG DEMS pounded CASSESA’S pitching, as six hitters combined for 11 hits, 12 RBIs and 22 runs scored. CALVIN was the game’s losing pitcher. He allowed seven runs in three innings, walked three and struck out five.
