The funeral liturgy was performed April 16 at Corpus Christi R.C. Church Hasbrouck Heights, for Anthony J. Giordano, Jr. “Tony” 88, of Hasbrouck Heights, formerly of Hoboken. He passed away April 11. Born in Hoboken to the late Mary and Anthony J. Giordano, Sr., Anthony was an Army veteran of W.W.II serving from 1943-1946. He was a graduate of Seton Hall University in South Orange where he received his Bachelors Degree in 1950. Before retiring, Anthony was an eighth grade science teacher at A.J. Demarest Junior High School in Hoboken and a member of the New Jersey Education Association. He was the husband of Rosalind T. Giordano; father of Carol Hile of Fair Lawn and her late husband James, Thomas Giordano and his wife Grace of Springfield and the late Joseph and Paul Giordano; brother of the late Joseph and Peter Giordano and Victoria Oliveti; grandfather of James, Julianne and her husband Christopher, Christine, Carolyn, Thomas and Ian. Services arranged by the Costa Memorial Home, Hasbrouck Heights.
